A galvanic-based dissolved oxygen level monitoring sensor system in freshwater ponds

This study aims to develop low-cost and environmentally friendly material galvanic-based dissolved oxygen sensors. A Dissolved (DO) sensor has been designed fabricated on an 85 x 205 mm galvanic-based. The structure device consists of Al-Zn reference layer electrode, Ag/AgCl active 120ml KCl electrolyte solvent 0,1 M, closed by TiO2 membrane (PTFE). formation electrode was done Ag chlorination using FeCl3, the formed paste screen printing. test measure sensor’s performance based current-voltage characteristics between 1.0 1.8 V. results showed that a stable diffusion current obtained when input voltage 1.5 V, resulting in best with sensitivity 0.7866 μA L/mg step response time 3 mins. prototype high potential for prototyping water quality monitoring system.
